The 'Sacred strokes' was my solo exhibition organised by Artisera. The Sanskrit shlokas, verses, and prayers are rendered in modern, experimental writing styles. This show was completely sold out. You can view the full exhibition here

My practice involves a meditative process, dipping the kalam (brush) in the ink, enacting a stroke with a conscious judgment, encapsulating the unknown reactions of the ink on paper, dramatic or failed ending of strokes. When I create, I focus on many elements like hand, mind, posture, the texture of ink, and tactility of surface all at once to achieve a single stroke. I enjoy this uncertainty, surprises, risks, or happy accidents but offers me a spiritual experience.
